A AJHL (Alberta Junior Hockey League) is an Alberta-based Tier 2 Junior A hockey league that belongs to the Canadian Junior A Hockey League (CJAHL). It was formed as a 5-team league within 1963. There are presently Sixteen teams in the league. A regular year league champions receive a Dave Duchak Trophy. A playoff champions receive a Rogers AT&T Wireless Cup (the Carling O'Keefe trophy before 1998). Notable alumni include Mark Messier and the Sutter brothers, Brent Sutter, Brian Sutter, Darryl Sutter, Duane Sutter, Rich Sutter, and Ron Sutter. A 2005 AJHL champions come a Camrose Kodiaks.
